Check with your doctor
You can get vaccinated at your doctor's or, for example, at your workplace, if they offer vaccinations.
Ask your doctor if in any doubt about whether you should be vaccinated.
When should you be vaccinated?
The incidence of influenza varies from year to year during the period November to March. In Denmark, vaccination is generally recommended from October to the end of the year.
If the vaccination is given too late you can risk not having time to build up sufficient immunity before being exposed to infection.
If the vaccination, on the other hand, is given before October, protection will be poorer later on in the influenza season.
